This photo is of William Miller with his team of horses on his farm in Cherry Valley, Ohio. You can see the barn in the background and if you look closely, you see the wagon parked in the left bay. This picture was taken around 1916.
William was born in 1860. Some of the American events William had witnessed by the time this photo was taken were the Pony Express, President Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, the Civil War, Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone, and the Wright Brothers making their first powered flight!
