Meet Mr. and Mrs. William E. Miller!

My interest in discovering the roots of our family began because of my curiosity about the baby girl in this photo. She was born in 1890, the year the U.S Calvary fought against the Indians in the Battle of Wounded Knee. She is my grandmother, Thirza Miller.

I learned of our family's ancestors going back, in some lines, over four hundred years. Our ancestors were a part of American history and were participants in the major events of our country. They fought in the wars and helped to expand the west.

The purpose of this blog is to introduce those ancestors to you and to look at the historical setting of their lives. I hope you enjoy!
